Worship & PASTORAL CARE
Music Ministry
Under the leadership of organist and choir director, Gary Evans, our choir provides a beautiful and joyful worship experience. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings at 9 am for anyone interested in singing!
Altar & Flower Guild
The Altar and Flower Guild prepares the sanctuary for each service, with colors that are appropriate for the liturgical calendar, and with bread and wine for Communion. Flowers are added at different times during the year and in honor of loved ones. If you are interested in helping create a worshipful atmosphere in the sanctuary, consider joining the Altar Guild.
Pastoral Care & Prayer team
Everyone experiences a trying situation or a difficult journey at some point in life and our parish family works hard to provide pastoral care. Meals are made for those recovering from surgery; transportation is provided to doctors’ appointments; cards and flowers are sent; and monthly wellness calls and visits to our homebound parishioners are at the heart of what we do. Pastoral care baskets radiating love, kindness, and baked goods and snacks are made to welcome new parishioners and heal those in sorrow or sickness. With pastoral care, Jesus’ footsteps go well beyond the walls of the church buildings.
Our prayer team keeps in touch to pray for love and healing for those with urgent as well as ongoing needs and to offer thanksgiving for God’s healing presence. Our prayer list is also shared during the Prayers of the People when we gather for worship. Anyone is welcome to be a part of our team.
